Back before TVs, DVDs, CDs, IPODs, or cell phones, a time when all you had was a radio and your imagination. A time known as the Golden Age of Radio.

The ShoeString Community Players would like to invite you to its production of "Gunsmoke", the radio play to be performed September 17th at 7pm and September 18th at 2pm and 7pm. Performances will be at the St. Helens High School Loo Witt Room.

Come see and hear Matt Dillion tame the west, along with Chester, Miss Kitty, and Doc.

SSCP will be performing four episodes of “Gunsmoke” intermixed with commercials and musical interludes.

Definitely a show not be missed.

Seating is limited, so buy your tickets early. Tickets will be on sale at The St. Helens Book Shop and SunShine Pizza. Tickets are $8 Adults and $5 Students and Seniors.

The “Gunsmoke” cast includes Ron Hansen, Keith Marks, Mary Freeman, Merle Pence, Robert Gatlin, Ron Freeman, and guest starring Sandi Hess. Directed by Brian Vaerewyck and with a lot of help from his friends, Bill Cade, Joe Nelson, Dena Nelson, Bob Gaston, G Gaston, and Stefan Vaerewyck.
