St. Helens Haunted Tours

ShoeString Community Players Present “St. Helens Haunted Tours” During October

ShoeString Community Players present “St. Helens Haunted Tours”, a live ghostly tour through historic downtown St. Helens in conjunction with “The Spirit of Halloweentown” events and the City of Helens Tourism. Tour length of each performance is 45 minutes. See the local haunts, and re-live the secret, interesting, spooky, and creepy history of St. Helens, Oregon. The tour is a very unique, special event with visual effects, and ghostly character scenes throughout downtown. We provide you with a tour guide to walk along the streets giving you a memorable experience for years to come. Maybe even see a real spirit or two along the way.

“St. Helens Haunted Tours” is different from previous two years. The route has been changed yet again as well as more interactions have been added. “We are trying to keep the show fresh and full of secrets”, said Brian Vaerewyck, director of the show. “There are many new scenes with outstanding effects. If you loved last year, you are in for some eye-catching spectral delight this year,” Brian added. Also to deal with the large groups we added a second tour guide since a majority of shows were sold out last year. We also have the first two shows of every evening being PG rated and later shows PG13 for a little more graphic detail in the tour.

The cast is fairly large with a show running every 30 minutes. Cast and production staff to name a few: Alyson Vaerewyck, Amelia Henderson, Anthony Harrell, Bill Cade, Brandon Cutshall, Brian Vaerewyck, Byron Ohler, Casey Burnett, Colleen Ohler, Jacob Coca, Jake Hutchison, Jeff Nelson, Jimmy Gerdes, John Miller, Keith Marks, Merle Pence, Laurie Hallaian, Madison Vaerewyck, Mark Reed, Patrick Birkle, Paul Coca, Ray Kessinger III, Robert Gatlin, Sam Biegle, Sarah Carman, Savanna Smiens, Shannon Vaerewyck, and Toni White.
